INTOHEAT Help Provide Life-Saving Defibrillator for Remote Community in Devon

INTOHEAT has recently helped to provide a new defibrillator to a community of park homes between Okehampton and North Tawton.

After a successful fundraising campaign organised by one of the park’s residents, the community now has a life-saving piece of equipment that can be used to restart the heart in cases of cardiac arrest.

Plenty of local organisations, such as the British Heart Foundation and Okehampton Rotary Club, donated funds to help get the device up and running, while INTOHEAT conducted the electrical installation and Rexel supplied the materials.

Kim Allesbrook, the resident behind the fundraising said: “I’m just delighted to get it all up and running. It has been a hell of a lot of work to get to this stage. I’d like to thank everyone who helped make it possible”.
