National Apprenticeship Week 2024 with INTOHEAT

Apprentices are the lifeline of any industry, building skills on the job that they can take to their future roles – and beyond. At INTOHEAT, we’re ahead of the curve when it comes to our apprentices, taking on talents and bringing them through their course with a higher completion rate than the UK average.

The achievements and abilities of our apprentices are rapidly increasing over time, and this week is all about paying homage to the hard work they do.

What is National Apprenticeship Week?

Just as it sounds, National Apprenticeship Week is a yearly celebration of apprentices. It’s all about bringing together businesses and apprenticeships with a passion for what they do, shedding some light on the value, benefits, and opportunities that they offer.

Celebrating Our Apprentices

Across the business we have invested heavily into developing our next generation within the construction industry, without them there is no future…. ! These include:

  • 8 Electrical Apprenticeships
  • 4 Plumbing apprenticeships
  • 3 Gas apprentice engineers
  • 3rd Year Building Services Degree Apprentice L6
  • 2nd Year Building Services Degree Apprentice L6
  • 1st Year Building Services Engineering Senior Technician L4
  • Final Year Building Services Design Technician L3

Our apprentices are given the opportunity to develop their skills in a working environment – and they’ve succeeded greatly at that. We’ve had apprentices win awards with On Site – a Bristol apprenticeship provider – showing how well they’ve taken on their learning.

We’re proud of our apprentices and all they’ve achieved, and are looking forward to supporting their growth into the future.

The 5% Club

An “earn and learn” initiative, the 5% club represents a commitment for members to increase their apprentices, sponsored students, and graduates on formal programmes to 5% of their workforce within five years.

As a member of this club, we’re showing our commitment to the industry – bringing in people with a real passion for mechanical and electrical engineering, showing them the ropes, and helping them get qualified. This helps everyone – from the people out in the field that need a helping hand, to customers who need quality service for years to come.
